When on game drives and bush walks, attendees must follow the directions of their attendant game ranger who is dedicated to your safety and comfort.

To ensure safety, while at Thula Thula, attendees are not permitted to leave the boundaries of the lodge camps without a game ranger or one of the Thula Thula staff to accompany them.  

Thula Thula is dedicated to stripping away non-indigenous, invasive plant species to preserve the local indigenous flora and fauna. During game drives and bush walks, care is taken to always bring out any man-made articles that are taken in, and respect for the preservation of the area in choosing driving trails and paths is a priority.

The Earth Organization (TEO) is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the vital partnership for survival we all have with the natural world, and bringing down-to-earth solutions to environmental and conservation situations, in order to effectively reverse the dwindling spiral of health, life, and sustainability. 

The Earth Organization’s many activities include providing outstanding, intimate Eco-Safari Adventures to South Africa and the exclusive private game preserve called Thula Thula (pronounced Toola Toola), World Luxury Hotel Awards Finalist.  Please join us for our full scheduled itinerary, or for a few days in combination with a trip to other destinations in Africa. 8 Night - Eco Safari Discovery Package - Land Only - Starting at $3,850 per person double-occupancy

3 nights in Durban and 5 nights at Thula Thula Exclusive Private Game Reserve. Arrive in the evening at the gorgeous, 5-star Woodhall Manor after your long trip. Day 1, you'll have time for shopping for souvenirs in traditional markets, golf on an Ernie Els course, or enjoy the warm-water sports and beaches of the Indian Ocean. Day 2, a spectacular 3-hour zipline canopy tour above the sub-tropical jungle, over a gorge and past a waterfall. [B] Day 3, off to Thula Thula for 5 nights (as above). 8 Night - Eco Safari Premiere Package - Includes Air from Richards Bay to Thornybush - Starting at $6,425 per person double-occupancy

After 5 extraordinary nights at Thula Thula Exclusive Private Game Reserve (as above), you'll fly to Thornybush Nature Reserve and arrive in time for lunch. This luxury lodge and private reserve forms part of the 5.4 million acre Greter Kruger National Park. Its 20 rooms are set along the Monwana River. Unwind in the gorgeous spa. Twice dialy game drives to see the Big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, cape buffalo and leopard). Visit Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre which focuses on the conservation and breeding of rare, vulnerable or endangered animals, with a particular focus on re-releasing cheetahs into the wild.
